Arctic Wild Tours AS is a passion-fueled adventure company founded by Lorenzo, a seasoned wildlife guide, researcher, and biologist with a deep love for the Arctic. Originally from Rome, Lorenzo began his journey in the natural sciences with a degree in biology. His path soon led him to the remote Falkland Islands, where he studied marine mammals and discovered a new passion—wildlife photography. This experience ignited a lifelong fascination with wild places and set the stage for his Arctic adventures.
Pursuing further education, Lorenzo moved to Tromsø to earn a master’s degree in animal physiology, later continuing his academic journey with a PhD at a prestigious University of California. Today, he calls Tromsø home, where he works as a researcher and brings over a decade of guiding experience to his tours.
Lorenzo began guiding in 2012, initially focusing on the awe-inspiring Northern Lights. Over the years, his expertise has grown to encompass the full spectrum of Arctic wildlife and natural phenomena. Through Arctic Wild Tours, he blends scientific insight, storytelling, and a photographer’s eye to offer travelers immersive, unforgettable experiences in the heart of the Arctic wilderness—where nature, science, and adventure seamlessly converge.
